Why should I attend?
In this workshop, we will take a deep dive into the areas of Defined Benefits where we see firms still finding their feet and therefore, where they need the most support.
This includes;
- Triage.
- Abridged advice.
- Comparing workplace pensions.
- Demonstrating client understanding.
- PII requirements.
During this half-day session, we’ll look at best practices and how your files need to look from both a client and a compliance perspective.
We’ll also be joined by Royal London, who will host a session on Pension Transfers, specifically gathering information for pension transfer advice. Learning outcomes include:
- What the regulator’s expectation is regarding information gathering for pension transfers.
- The guidance points on information gathering in the DBAAT instruction manual and FG21/3.
- How to describe examples of good and poor practice relating to information gathering contained in FG21/3.
