R03 Revision Workshop – July

This revision workshop is ideal for those currently studying Personal Taxation (R03) with the CII and who would benefit from a supported study session with a dedicated, experienced tutor.

So, let’s throw some light on the dreaded R03 exam so that learners feel confident about their upcoming exam. R03 has the lowest pass rate in comparison to the other R0 units so it is no surprise to hear that the majority of students find this exam the toughest. The objective of R03 exam is to develop knowledge and understanding of the UK taxation system, and the ability to analyse the taxation treatment of individuals and trusts during the investment advice process. The problem is, whilst learners are likely to be familiar with their own personal taxation, the unit is extremely broad and learners are required to have a good level of knowledge across the whole content.

These workshops are designed to bring to life the content covered in the study text. Students are expected to have their own study text and already have a good level of comprehension on the subject in order to get the most out of the session. The R03 workshop includes access to our e-Learning platform where materials needed for the session (such as slides and crib sheets) can be accessed to view, or print, as preferred.

Currently running via Zoom, our two day sessions will be jam packed with handy tips, live activities and peer support to help you make the most of your revision time. With day one scheduled on a Friday, you then have the weekend to digest your learning, ready for day two the following Monday.
