Nationwide Client Relations Up to £35k Full time

We are looking for an experienced Client Relations or Business Development Manager to help us take Apricity to the next stage of its journey. We have a fantastic reputation in financial services, and are looking for someone to help spread that, while also ensuring our existing clients continue to love working with us. About the Role

This is a new role, created due to the level of demand we are experiencing and potential for growth. We are looking for someone with previous B2B account management or business development experience, who understands a consultative sales approach and building long lasting relationships. It’s essential that the candidate has knowledge of the Financial Services industry and working with IFA’s. A key element to the role is then the ongoing client management, keeping regular contact to ensure clients are happy and are receiving the service they need.

Our head office is located in Co Durham, but we also have a London office, and our clients are based all around the country. Therefore we are open to applicants from all locations, though we would expect as a minimum they can attend the northern office once a month. Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Creating new sales channels and looking out for opportunities within the market to create sales opportunities.
  • Building relationships with both cold and warm leads to turn those leads into happy clients.
  • Looking after existing clients (we also have internal account managers to deal with ongoing enquiries).
  • Host webinars, attend face to face meetings and attend events either as a delegate for networking, or as an exhibitor promoting the brand.
  • Bringing your own ideas forward and contributing to the companies’ sales strategies, we have a marketing team to support this.

About You

At least three years experience in sales, with an understanding of financial services, being an extremely strong advantage. In addition, there are a number of key skills that we look for in our perfect candidate and they are…

  • Demonstrable experience in business development, with a strong ability to negotiate and close a sale.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and generally good at chatting to people and building relationships.
  • Being able to bring initiative and fresh ideas to the role and the company.

  • Strong brand awareness, and fully embody the company values.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Confident presentation skills.
