Overcoming Behavioural Biases
Join us for the first in a series of technical webinars that we’ll be hosting monthly. Each webinar will feature an expert guest speaker to bring you the technical know-how on the specialist topic.
April’s webinar will be looking at overcoming behavioural biases, with Jon Bell from BNY Mellon. We’ll be taking a look at the emotions, social media influence and how aversion to losses can make investors make irrational decisions. We’ll also focus on Income, whether taken or reinvested, can be an important part of a client journey. With the ageing population, increasingly volatile markets and a number of traditional areas struggling to maintain their ability to pay dividends during the pandemic, we highlight key aspects we need to be aware of the in changing landscape.
