We’ve hosted our TALK events consecutively over the last year and they have now become a regular feature in many people’s diaries.

Each one is an hour long and will feature industry-leading speakers sharing expert content on a specific theme within their field. During the session, delegates are split off into working groups to discuss and share best practice – bringing back that much-desired networking.

What are we talking about?

While most of us are ready for life to go back to normal, one aspect of the pandemic that seems here to stay, at least in some form, is working from home. Many of us have seen the benefits of allowing the team to continue to work from home and have chosen to remain fully or at least partly remote.

In this session, we’ll be joined by Lee Roberston who will share details of the new hybrid way of working that he has recently encountered.

He’ll discuss the challenges that businesses face when offering this form of setup while also looking at the positives that it can provide.

This event will be done in our usual format, including breakout rooms giving delegates the opportunity to share their own thoughts and opinions. Delegates can discuss how they have managed the return to the office, if they’ve chosen to stay at home or if they’ve opted for a more hybrid approach. There will be a Q&A session conducted, allowing for any burning questions to be put to Lee.

Christian is Apricity’s Head of Adviser Support. Having been an adviser, T&C Manager & SM16/17 for many years, he is very well placed to understand what makes firms tick, what many are trying to achieve and how to assist them in getting there.

Lee Roberston, Managing Director – Octo Members Group

Lee is the Managing Director of Octo Members Group, supporting wealth managers and financial planners. He was the founding director of Investment Quorum and stepped back from the business in 2018, though continues to support them in an advisory role. Lee is a chartered wealth manager.
