Last week, we announced the shortlist for The Verve Awards – exciting, huh?!
Judges have been busy since nominations closed a few weeks ago – we received an abundance of heart-warming nominations for those people genuinely making a difference in finance, leaving them with the tough decision of who made it through to the final.
As a reminder; the aim of The Verve Awards is to really shine a spotlight on some of the amazing people and initiatives that are happening in financial services, that are often rarely in the headlines. With no self-nominations allowed, all finalists have been nominated by peers who have been inspired and impressed by the fantastic work they are doing within the industry – which is a huge achievement!
We’ll be announcing the winners in a celebration on 1st September at our annual summit, Evolution and we’d love you to come along and applaud the successes within the profession. You can find out more and book your tickets here.
But for now, here are your finalists…
The Thrive Award
This award represents our first key mission: to support financial services firms to grow and thrive as the industry develops.
The Attraction Award
This award represents The Verve Group’s second key mission: to shout about the joys of a career in finance and attract more people into it.
The Collaboration Award
This award aims to recognise an outstanding team, partnership or network that has collaborated with others via a creative initiative, project or merger to improve financial services.
The Innovation Award
To complement this year’s conference theme, ‘Evolution’, this award is for an individual or team who has found a new ‘thing’ or a new way of doing something that has innovated the profession or their own firm.
The Verve Award
This special award will be given to the company or individual who has embodied the missions being driven forward by The Verve Group. Those that have regularly go above and beyond to change the face of finance, to break down stereotypes within the profession and encourage innovative, forward-thinking ideas.
