With lockdown 3.0 well and truly in full swing, it’s safe to say that going back to some kind of normality in the workplace is still far away on the horizon.
But, in light of a new year, and with the aim of looking for the positives, Verve have been taking a step back to see what changes have worked well over the last few months, and what is starting to become the ‘new normal’.

Mohsin is a developer with a thirst for knowledge. He is always looking at new technologies and trying to keep up to date with different programming languages to ensure the tech at The Verve Group is always ahead of the curve.
With over 20 years experience of working in the financial services sector as both an adviser and a senior manager, Paul understands the needs and requirements of our clients and is perfectly placed to support them develop the requisite skills, practices and knowledge to move their businesses forward. Paul is very experienced in implementing and overseeing constant change in response to business needs and is an advocate of a relationship-based approach to working collaboratively.
Ever a ray of sunshine, Becky joined us as a paraplanner through The Grad Scheme where she uses her research and organisational skills that she learnt at university to help her gather client data and write reports.
Another Grad Scheme success story, it wasn’t until Becky started her journey with us that she discovered her fascination with all things finance, and is now thriving in her new role at The Verve Group. Her biggest motivator is knowing the impact the end result has on the client and that she has made a difference.
Anita has a degree in Criminology and has relocated to the UK from Romania. She shows the same passion and devotion to finance as she obviously did to achieve her degree at such a young age and can be found using her diligent nature to ensure top quality administration for our clients while studying for her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.
With her AAT qualification and many years experience in accounting, Amy handles the financial aspects of all client accounts, making her the go-to person for all things payments and invoicing. Her delightful dog Milo is also a regular visitor to the office.
Alex joined The Verve Group via The Grad Scheme in 2017 and puts her BSc (Hons) in Psychology, from Durham University to use when she's speaking to advisers about what their client really wants and needs.
Alanis provides compliance support to our clients and is responsible for Quality Assurance, providing common sense advice on all areas of regulation. She also consults on regulation changes ensuring our clients are kept up to date with FCA updates and answers your technical queries. She recently undertook and passed AF7 to further deepen her knowledge in the pension transfer sector.
Ollie is our Head of Development and a natural linguist. With 5 years of international experience as a developer, Ollie previously founded a software platform used by the UK government. He's always keen to learn about new technologies, and has a passion for helping others within the Verve team. Ollie also has a degree in Linguistics, so he's interested in both programming and natural languages!
With 8 years' experience in digital design, Stacey is another of our designers responsible for making sure that the Verve vision is brought to life across all that we do - from our tech interface through to our marketing and events. When she's not busy working across both teams, you can find her loving life with her Insta-famous dog, who is also the new software's namesake and mascot...
Graham is a recent Computer Science with Web Development Graduate who has joined The Grad Scheme to become a part of making a difference within the technology-led services that The Verve Group provide. He has a passion for learning new tech and putting this into practice, which he is looking forward to doing within this role.
Angus was our very first web developer to join us through The Grad Scheme. A lover of all things fintech, he has rapidly enhanced his skills within the team and also has a passion for games design and putting his computer science qualification to great use.
