Recently, Verve welcomed two brand new finance administrators to our amazing team making it even stronger than it was! Before we dive into our newest recruits, let’s re-introduce you to some familiar faces.

Starting with Kylie Rushton, our Admin Manager, who is responsible for the day-to-day management of our admin team. Kylie’s not one to back away from working as a team as she has also got stuck into the physical admin work such as data gathering and uploading file checks for our compliance gang.

But that’s not everything – Kylie comes with 15 years’ experience of being part of an office environment, she first started with an Insurance Company where she climbed the ladder up to being a manager. She also has completed full CII qualifications.

We caught up with Kylie and asked what it’s like working for Verve and she said:

“We all work together to achieve high standards and our SLAs. Our teamwork is what makes us strong at what we do and makes our advisers happy. The saying ‘work hard play hard’ is very true for us!”

Anita Tudor is one of our Financial Administrators who really knows her stuff and proves it daily! She is currently studying for her diploma in Financial Planning but whilst doing so, also supports our clients and paraplanners by data gathering on pensions and investments.

Previously, Anita studied Criminology and achieved a prestigious First Class Honours highlighting her ongoing commitment to excellence. You’ll usually find Anita working on multiple cases in one day as she loves to challenge herself!

We also asked Anita what it’s like working at Verve and she said:

“It is a very fast-paced environment where every day is different, and you can learn new things. Simultaneously, you can discover new opportunities to develop and improve your professional and interpersonal skills.”

How could we forget about Matthew Greenwood? Matthew mainly works on admin-only cases and keeps on top of all the new cases coming in. His day is filled with sending emails, calling providers to chase plan information, and filling in data-gathering spreadsheets. Busy, busy, busy!

He went on to gain a BTEC in Business Finance which gave him a lot of the skillset he uses every day at Verve. Fun fact, did you know that Matthew has a background in running, 400 metres to be exact and ran at a time of 50.1 seconds?

Speaking with Matthew, we asked what it’s like to work at Verve and he said:

“For me, the biggest change was being treated like an adult. Feeling like I can just get on with my work without someone watching over my shoulder, but there is always someone there to help when you need it.”

Helen Spaven makes up another part of our fabulous admin team! You’ll find Helen head down in chasing LOAs, confirming plan information with providers and keeping our Dextera system up to date and as accurate as possible, alongside a whole heap of other things!

Helen comes from a vast background as she’s taken on a variety of roles – paraplanner, operations, and administrator mainly within financial advice firms. If that wasn’t enough, Helen also studied Sociology in Manchester before graduating and beginning her journey into finance.

We asked Helen the same question, what’s it like working at Verve? Here’s what she said:

“Everyone has been so friendly. The culture is also a very inclusive environment with efforts being made to include everyone.”

Now, let us introduce you to the first of our newest team members, Liv Cromack…

Liv has worked in financial services for over 3 years but focused on insurance and mortgages, so she’s very excited to take on the new challenge of pensions and investments. Liv is a hard worker and loves to challenge herself, she proved this as she flexed her academic skills and gained an NVQ in Business Administration and Management before she began her career. A true clever clogs!

When we caught up with Liv, we asked her what attracted her to Verve, she said:

“I think just how chilled the atmosphere and office are compared to places I’ve worked in the past, it’s not often that you work in an office that finishes work an hour early to do activities together and get everyone away from their desks!”

We are also very excited to introduce our other newest team member – Pavlina Barakova.

Pavlina joined us through The Grad Scheme and we knew she was a perfect fit for our admin team. Originally from Bulgaria, Pavlina moved to the UK in 2012 and had her beautiful son! When Pavlina’s not working you’ll find her reading and going on long walks – bliss.

We asked Pavlina how she sees her future at Verve and what she hopes to achieve, here’s what she said:

“I would love to be able to learn more about finance and enrol on more training and studies in the near future.”

We’re so thrilled to have a strong financial admin team that works together to help our clients’ journeys, from the very start of the process, run smoothly!
